A man does not define you!!!
I have a lot of friends that are struggling in relationships. They ask me what’s my secret and why I’m so strong. I tell them that they have to know their self worth. I’ve dealt with my fair share of troubles in relationships but I stand up for myself. I’ve always been really feisty when it comes to someone thinking they are gonna disrespect me. Now, as time has passed (I’m married now of course), I just began to turn the other cheek and just say, “NO! I’m not dealing with this and you better respect me or hit the road!”
I know it hurts sometimes to move on from a man that you love but trust me, sometimes it’s better to just let him go. He will come back if he loves you and with respect this time. Men tend to get off track sometimes but we as women have to stand up for ourselves and let them know that what they are doing is unacceptable and will not be tolerated, at all. In the long run, this will for sure pay off, ladies. Trust me please. If you feel down and think you want to call after taking a break from your loved one when you have been let down by them, get a friend you trust that you can talk to to get you through this tough time instead. Someone that won’t judge you. Use this time to talk to God and be around the ones who truly love you. Don’t run after him, especially if he is the one who screwed up. If he loves you, he’ll be back.
I haven’t had my heart broken(cause I don’t give it away easily) but for those that are going through a heartbreak, let it go and let God handle it but never and I mean NEVER settle for less. Please ladies! We GOTTA KNOW OUR POWER AND OUR WORTH or they won’t.
Tip of the day: Value yourselves!!!
