Don’t let anyone put their opinion of others on you. Sometimes it can be your downfall not to take their advice, but try to get to know the individual for yourself. Someone is probably always putting them in a box for what they’ve done in the past so there is no chance for change. Sometimes my husband describes me as a kid that shouldn’t talk to strangers and with that comes disappointment because let’s face it everyone doesn’t always have your best interest at heart. When someone ends up disappointing me, I pray to God not to let that person make me bitter or change who I am within.
Helping others doesn’t always mean it has to be with money, you can help someone with a kind gesture or smile, your time or a listening ear. I’m constantly saying to myself, “why aren’t things in life that should be normal so abnormal.” When did being nice become a surprise?
