Loyalty and commitment is something I’ve grown into as I’ve gotten older. I’m loyal to all my friends and family and support them in whatever they decide to do.

I have a client who’s husband has cancer and he is a very lucky man to have her as a wife. He must have done something right in this world for God to have blessed this man with a Proverbs 31 woman. Her commitment to him is touching. She is by his side 24/7 and takes care of him like a baby. I use to tease my husband and say, you are gonna be old and alone, but anyone of us can be old and alone. When you do right by others God will do right by you. I look at their situation and think to myself, I would do the same thing for my husband, mom or anyone of my loved ones. This is priceless. I love nice things but loyalty and commitment are things that you can’t ever put a price on. I would give up everything I own if it would cost me my friends and family. I would never want to be alone and not loved.

I guess what I’m trying to say is do right by people even when they don’t do right by you. Leave them to God and maybe even pray for them. I know this sounds crazy but pray for your enemies. That’s what God would do. I strive to be like Him. I’m not perfect but if you strive everyday to do the right thing, it becomes a part of who you are.
