It’s our Anniversary!!!

5 years ago today is the day I married the love of my life! I can tell you about the rough road on the way here but I’ll save that for another day because right now I feel so blessed to know that we made it this far and are more in love than the first day we met. He really has grown into the man I love. What I mean is, when you first meet someone it’s all fun. Then, things change, you change, kids come along, the scenery changes and then everything is different. I love the man he has grown to be , the father he has grown to be, the husband he has grown to be. I wouldn’t change anything about him or what we’ve been through because that’s what got us where we are right now, still back to the root of things and still in love!!! I’m so happy today and can’t wait for my anniversary present. He can never wait until dinner. He’s so excited about what he has for me that the anticipation of seeing my reaction when I open my gift is fun for him. But it’s not just about the material gift. It’s just a jump start on how exciting our lovely evening will be and what is in store. Like wearing something he has never seen me in or putting on his favorite dress and what ever he says for the rest of the evening. He is my King (that’s his gift). Baby, thanks for always coming after me and loving me when sometimes I don’t love myself, encouraging me, and listening to me when I’m sad. Take it in , digest it, and let it go, as he says. LOML(love of my life). Here’s to 555 more years! Baby, WE MADE IT!!!!!!!!! Smooth sailing from here with God in our life!
