This is what I wore while doing some personal shopping for my client last week. I’ve been getting so many e-mails about how to shop on a budget. No matter how things may seem, when shopping for my client’s we start with a budget per month. The key is having an eye for fashion and being wise on how much you’ll spend, what to splurge on and what not to purchase.

 Now it’s my job to see what my client needs and what they already have so they don’t waste our time or money. A lot of times we have so much unnecessary stuff that we forget what we need to add to our wardrobe to give our clothing that unexpected touch. Also I need to determine if the items that my clients do have aren’t outdated so we can know if we need to toss it or if the item needs altering. These are small fixes that can help you recreate something you already have so you can feel like you just got a brand new piece.

When my clients want a new look, but they’re afraid to try it out, I mostly experiment with clothing from inexpensive stores like H&M. Most of my clients don’t shop here so they are shocked when I come back with great affordable pieces. This hot spot has all the latest trends at a fraction of the price so you can experiment with new things then decide if you want to splurge later on a better piece. You can defiantly put  this place into your budget to get something maybe twice a month. There are items there as low as $10. The key is to feel the material and trying on is a must. You have to try anything you purchase on because you’ll never know the fit if you don’t.

This season save your money up for: 

1. Riding boots,
2. A Bootie (black, peanut butter),
3. A bright colored blazer (emerald green, red),
4. A statement necklace,
5. A printed cardigan (easy to throw in your purse and will add a touch of style),
6. A pair of well fitted jeans (you can wear them three times a week with different tops and sweaters),
7. A flowy dress (to wear with tights and those booties),
8. Lastly, a fur vest.

Tip of the day: Remember it’s great to admire someone else’s style, but always  have your own signature style.
