It's ok to not be ok...
Realize
Today was rough. Today makes three years since my grandmother’s passing. I really try to forget about it, but I can’t. She was buried on my birthday and it kinda gets me down. I wish I would have spent more time with her. Victoria was an amazing woman! When I’m sad I just look in the sky and a star always winks at me.:) Please cherish your loved ones.
My eldest daughter had it double time today. One of her best friends brothers got killed in Iraq two days before he was supposed to come home. I send my condolences to their family. They are great people.
Can’t forget about my friend Amber who’s grandfather just passed and now her grandmother is in a coma with brain damage. Such a sad time…
“To realize the value of a sister/brother, ask someone who doesn’t have one,
To realize the value of ten years ask a newly divorced couple,
To realize the value of four years, ask a graduate,
To realize the value of one year, ask a student who has failed a final exam,
To realize the value of nine months, ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn,
To realize the value of one month, ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby,
To realize the value in one week, ask an editor of a weekly newspaper,
To realize the value of one minute, ask a person who missed the train, bus, or plane,
To realize the value of one second, ask a person who survived an accident,
Time waits for no one.
Treasure every moment you have.
You will treasure it even more when you can share it with someone special.”
To realize the value of a friend or a family member LOSE ONE…

Just in case you were wondering what she was whispering in my ear, “you are special”.
