You can tell a lot about a person by their loyalty to others. Loyalty goes hand in hand with trustworthiness. If you can’t trust the people around you, then they don’t deserve your loyalty. You have to be willing to allow your own interests to take second place sometimes to be truly loyal to another person.
It’s easy to be judgmental and say I told you so, instead of trying to help someone fly through their hard times. Don’t kick them when they’re down. This is where your true character starts to be tested… be there for others when they need you. It’s effortless to be selfish and focus on yourself, but it is truly a blessing when you can be someone’s shoulder to lean on and vice versa.
